Last night I woke up at 4.30am and couldn’t get back to sleep, to pass the time I thought about Hot People in History.
It wasn’t a new thought as Rosie and I have been chatting about this for a while. It all came about as I noticed Rosie was reading Wolf Hall.
I exclaimed “Oh My God, wouldn’t you just LOVE to meet Thomas Cromwell? He’s a polyglot, practical, kind (to his family), wealthy, respected and, by Hilary Mantel’s description, well muscled and attractive?”
“Yep” she replied “He sounds Hot-storical”
“You are SO right!” I exclaimed and since then we have been swapping text messages about Hotties who would make it to our Top 100 Hot-storical List.
We decided not to restrict Hot- storical to real historical figures, that would be boring, no, we decided all you had to be was hot and from the past.
Over the next few days I will be posting our list of Hot-storical figures.
First up on the Hot- storical top 100 is Ned Kelly.
