Officially we are excited but on the down-low we are feeling a wee bit daunted.

The numbers aren’t good.  Couples set off on a voyage in love, excited and ready for adventure but anecdotaly most sailing couples end up divorced. I know this because Ross told me.  The coconut run is well-known for being the death knell for romance. Couples arrive in Tahiti, ladies can’t get off the boat  fast enough while the captains are left floundering with no crew, yachts are abandoned, dreams crushed, marriages ruined.

Remind me why we are doing this?

Fingers crossed our amazing ability to communicate, our lovely little son and a whole heap of  patience will get us through.
